SCORE at ICT 2008: the information materials presented at SCORE booth and Networking session are now available

SCORE participated in ICT 2008 - the year’s biggest research event for information and communication technologies.

From the 25th to 27th of November the SCORE team held a project STAND within the International Village.
The booth detailed the project’s initial findings and provided general information as well as networking opportunities for researchers from the Western Balkans and the EU.

A Networking session was further organised on Wednesday, 26th November. The session, co-organised also with the WBC-INCO.NET “Coordination of research policies with the Western Balkan countries”, has offered the chance for EU and Western Balkan ICT research actors to investigate cooperation opportunities in ICT for government and e-government; Internet and broadband technologies; ICT for enterprise and e-business; and ICT for learning and e-learning. The priorities were previously identified by way of a consultation process involving ICT stakeholders in the region and were selected on the basis of the countries’ R&D infrastructure and human resources. Participants were finally also able to discuss ways to overcome any residual barriers to effective ICT R&D collaboration.
