- IDEAL-IST extended
- The aim of the Idealist-extend project is to reduce the barriers faced by organizations and individuals wishing to participate in the Information Society Technologies Program (IST) of the EU. As an integral part of the parent project Ideal-ist, the well-known partner search network for the IST priority, it represents an extension of the project to 3 Western Balkan and 4 Newly Independent States. Idealist-extend strengthens IST NCP related organisations in the participating INCO countries, trains both these organisations and potential proposers in IST programme related questions, identifies experts for call evaluations and brings potential proposers together at Infodays and workshops. Idealist-extend and idealist34 jointly cover 41 countries of Europe and the neighbouring regions and include Member States, Candidate States and Associated States, as well as Third Countries.
- SEE-ERA.NET
- The SEE-ERA.NET project aims at structuring and expanding the European Research Area to the West Balkan countries by co-ordinating and supporting RTD activities at the bilateral level. The project mainly targets bilateral inter-governmental programmes between the 15 consortium partners. Through a process of co-operation, concertation and co-ordination, added value will be achieved for the research communities of all twelve participating countries.
- European IST
- The aim of EUROPEAN IST project is to promote the research competencies of research organisation from New Member States & Associated Countries and enhance their participation in the IST priority. The consortium will elaborate a database of New Member States and Associated Candidate Countries Research centres and organise a series of information and brokerage events.
- ERA Westbalkan
- The project aims at integrating the Western Balkan Countries (WBC) into the European Research Area. National Contact Points in BiH, Serbia, Montenegro and FYR of Macedonia are established, trained and supported. In addition, an overview of the national research landscape is carried out and provides important information on the research community. Policy advice panels, consisting of policy stakeholders of the Western Balkan Countries and their counterparts in the Member States, focus on creating a favourable environment for R&D activities in the WBC.
